There's been some seriously bad press regarding high school football (not to mention college), but here's proof not all the players are goons.

Clay Soule, a defensive end for Michigan's Dansville High, raised eyebrows after he walked over to a rival player for Laingsburg during a game and tied his shoe before the next play took place.

It was a simple act of good sportsmanship that Soule said came naturally:

"He was trying to tie his shoe with his gloves on and he couldn't do it. I asked him if he wanted me to tie his shoe, and I just went over there and tied it for him. I didn't think twice about it. I think he was surprised."

Dansville went on to win the game and clinched a spot in the playoffs, but that almost seems secondary, doesn't it?
