Sunday, February 27th at 2:00 PM, you'll be hearing that familiar Brother Bone's whistled tune of "Sweet Georgia Brown" as the Harlem Globetrotters hit the court at the Times Union Center.

This is the perfect event to take your children to or to relive some of your own childhood memories.  At 30 years old, I still recall the first time I saw the 'trotters come out decked in the red white and blue back at the Hudson High School in the early 90s.  To this day, it's still one of my fondest memories that I share with my father and brother.

Though there will be no Paul Showtime Gaffney or Fred Curly Neal spinning the ball on their fingers, you can see the homecoming of Siena Saints' grad Tay Fisher, or "Firefly" as he is known to his fellow Trotters.  Tickets are starting out at less than $20 http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0000455ED9207C0D?artistid=806223&majorcatid=10003&minorcatid=55 not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I'll be in the crowd.  Seeing as I'm 2o years older than my first glimpse at the boys, I'm hoping not to fall for the ol' Water/Confetti in the bucket trick again.
