Happy Birthday Dimebag Darrell – Always Remembered

Today Dimebag Darrell Abbott would have been 45 years old if not for some psychopath taking his life  7 years ago.  It's hard to believe it's been that long since we as a rock community lost one of our favorites.

It's hard to think about how life is so fragile.  The Abbott family and rock world has learned that lesson the hard way too many times.  In some cases it's an addiction problem, in other cases it's another's thoughtless acts.  That was the unfortunate end of Dimebag Darrell's life. When a maniac took the stage and shot him 3 times in the head.  A terrible tragedy.  Today would have been Dime's 45th birthday.

We will always remember this great man through his work in rock music.  While I never had a chance to meet him, I always hear about how great a guy he was, and Mrozek can attest to that.  He left behind quite the legacy, and a part of the stage will always seem empty without him.  So I would just like to wish the Abbott family the best and say happy birthday to Dimebag.  In his honor we all need to do a shot.
