Today (March, 16 2016) we celebrate all things "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. It's 3:16 day!

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin was one of the most popular wrestlers in the WWE during the late 1990's and early 2000's. Known for his beer drinking, redneck with an attitude persona, and his finishing move the stone cold stunner, he was the face of the WWE Attitude Era. Austin is a six-time World Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, and four-time Tag Team Champion. In all, he's held 19 championships throughout his wrestling career. He retired from in-ring competition in 2003 due to a serious neck injury. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

Austin 3:16 has been the official symbol and slogan for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. It's actually a parody of John 3:16 from the bible. Upon defeating Jake "The Snake" Roberts in the WWE King of the Ring tournament, Austin was quoted as saying, "You talk about your John 3:16's; Austin:316 says I just whipped your ass!".  And as they say, the rest is history.
