Halestorm And Corey Taylor Do ‘Hunger Strike’ Live

Temple Of The Dog's Hunger Strike has been an enduring song. Temple Of The Dog was around from 1990 - 1992 and included Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Matt Cameron and Jeff Ament.

Personally, I like covers. I enjoy having a band play someone else's song and seeing what kind of spin they put on it to make it their own. Sometimes that just means doing the song right, and that's pretty much how Halestorm and Corey Taylor cover Hunger Strike.

Corey Taylor currently has Stone Sour doing a project of covers, slated to release three ep's with five covers each, using special guests. Rumor was Lzzy Hale was giong to be involved in the project, guess we can give a good guess now as to what song she'll be involved in.

We'll be seeing Corey on July 31st at SPAC for Slipknot's Summer's Last Stand Tour with special guests Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine and Motionless In White.
