Hair Pulling In Nascar [VIDEO]
What in the world is happening in this sport? Last week I saw some guy named Boris calling another racer a “Fraidy Cat” and now this.
During the NAPA 200 race in Montreal on Saturday, Nationwide Series driver Steve Wallace bumped into fellow racer Patrick Carpentier, spinning him out. This enraged Carpentier’s crew chief Jerry Baxter, who approached Wallace’s car during a pit stop and grabbed a handful of Wallace’s blond hair.
Commenting on the incident afterward, Wallace expressed regret that he had knocked Carpentier out of race. Then he reminded Baxter that “only girls pull hair.” Something tells us NASCAR isn’t going to be featuring this tiff in any of their official highlights.
