The No Doubt rocker has really stepped up to help the earthquake and tsunami victims with this massive donation.

A lot of artists are stepping in to help out disaster stricken Japan by recording songs that the sales will benefit the people hurt by the quake and tsunami.  Gwen Sefani is skipping the middle man and has donated $1 million to the emergency fund for children.

This is an amazing act of humanity.  I have heard of people donating thousands of dollars for relief but to donate a million dollars is unbelievable.  Stefani has always had a certain love for Japanese culture so it's no surprise that she has stepped up like this.

The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.

-Gwen Stefani (US Weekly interview)

Now just when you thought that you couldn't give more than $1 million Stefani also just recently announced that her fashion company will be coming out with a limited edition T-shirt that's proceeds will go to benefit the Japense relief effort as well.  I think we can all take a note of her crazy act of kindness. You can purchase one of the T-shirts starting next week on no doubts website. I have always liked Gwen (minus that god awful Holla Bak Girl song), but I think I like her even more now.
