You know you follow mrs_angemi on Instagram when you can scroll past puppies one second and a fully exposed human brain the next.

I've been following Nicole Angemi's 'iheartautopsy' account ever since I took a class in college called Anthropology of Death.

I think it's awesome that Alice Cooper helped to put Angemi's instagram account on the map, because it's actually really interesting stuff to see. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, as Angemi puts right in your face the things that most of us are terrified of - blood and death.

In our culture, death is at times presented as this far-off, or even unreal, thing. I sometimes even catch myself saying "If I die..." If? It's when!

Angemi sees a lot of dead bodies day to day as a pathologist, and shares with her followers interesting facts about diseases, precautionary tales, debunks myths, and possibly the most important thing that Angemi shares is the idea that to die is natural -- she familiarizes us with it, and in turn, helps to make us less afraid of it.

Don't just take my word for it, have a look for yourself! But still be prepared for that whole puppies-one-second-brains-the-next thing I mentioned above, because it is sometimes SHOCKING.
