Another big night for Hollywood and proving that not only does Facebook rule the real world, but also dominates the Hollywood world too.In what is usually a preview of what is to come at the Oscars, the Golden Globes didn't disappoint. Some of Hollywood's best work was awarded last night and accordingly so.  I'm a little upset the AMC's The Walking Dead didn't win for best TV drama, but if ti had to lose to anything HBO's Boardwalk Empire is terrific.  The big winner last night was The Social Network which took home the awards for Best Picture-Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Original Score.  I think that Jesse Eisenberg was snubbed for Colin Firth who took home Best Actor-drama for The Kings Speech. Natalie Portman, who is receiving critical acclaim for her role in Black Swan, won Best Actress-drama.  The Fighter also took home a couple awards last night.  Christian Bale, who looked a little bit like a creep with his long hair and mountain man beard, won for best supporting actor-drama and Melissa Leo won best supporting actress-drama.

Televisions biggest winners were no surprise, Glee.  It left the night with the awards for best TV series-comedy, best supporting actress-tv, and best supporting actor-tv.    I personally enjoy Glee. It is a huge guilty pleasure and I never miss an episode.  Another one of my personal favorite TV shows is The Big Bang Theory.  Jim Parsons who stars in it as Sheldon Cooper won for best actor-tv comedy. Though he did have some stiff competition from 30 Rocks Alec Baldwin and The Offices Steve Carell.
