After 5 bands performed at Q-Ruption, around 10:09pm the SPAC PA system blared AC/DC "For Those About To Rock", the lights went dark and Godsmack took the stage.  Frontman Sully Erna screamed into the mic "We didn't bring any pyro's, no light show, or videos just kick ass rock and f-ing roll"  They certainly didn't disappoint!

Godsmack played nearly a 90 minute set that was tight, raw,  full of hard rock energy as Sully Erna ruled the stage.

There were some fun times as bass player Robbie Merrell sang briefly "We will rock you" , the band did a small tribute of AC/DC,  Led Zeppelin,  Black Sabbath and Pantera.

Shannon Larkin was a animal on the drums, he even looks a bit like the muppet character Animal, and the drum battle between Larkin and Erna has certainly evolved into a thing of its own.

Sully got the crowd participating with the ending of 'Whatever'' and during the encore of  'I Stand Alone' bringing several fans out of the audience on stage with him.

As I recall this is the setlist:

Cryin’ Like A Bitch
The Enemy
Forever Shamed
Straight Out of Line
Awake
Speak
Love Hate Sex Pain
Voodoo
Keep Away
Drum Battle
Whatever

Encore:
Serenity
I Stand Alone

Godsmack ruled Q-Ruption but Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet, Sick Puppies, Egypt Central and Selfish Needy Creatures certainly didn't dissappoint either. 12,138 fans will tell you it was an awesome f-ing show!
