After it looked like the Atlanta Falcons were going to put up a fight the New York football Giants proved to be a bit to much and beat up on the birds 24-2.  They will now face Green Bay next week.

One thing is for sure, The New York Giants came to play.  The same can't be said for the Atlanta Falcons, who besides a safety on Eli Manning early scored no points against the G-Men.  It was a total domination by the Giants and they now get to move on and face the Green Bay Packers next week.  Hopefully that game will prove to be more of a challenge.

It took Eli a little while to get warmed up, but once he did he went off against the Falcons.  He threw for 277 yards and three TDs, two of which went into the hands of Hakeem Nicks who led the G-Men with 115 yards.  Brandon Jacobs finally woke up too and had a good game for Big Blue.  He rushed for 92 yards and that included a big 34 yard gain which seemed to just boost the Giants to bring on even more pain.

Next week the Giants face the #1 seeded Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field,  Always very dangerous to have to face the Packers at home.  I still think the Saints will win the whole thing.
