A seventh-grader in Vernon, N.J., has been suspended from school for what appears to be the most ridiculous reason ever.

While sitting in class, he was twirling his pencil in his hand when another student said that he was "making gun motions."

He was removed from class and suspended from school pending the outcome of a psychological evaluation.

The school district's superintendent said they are obligated to investigate claims whenever a student feels uncomfortable or threatened in any way by another student.

OK, great, but how exactly was another student threatened by him twirling his pencil?
