For some reason they keep intrusting me to talk with rock stars on-air and this time I sit down with Frank of the Deftones.

I’m assuming Frank was calling form inside a doomsday fall out shelter judging by the sound of his phone but he was pumped about the new album. Koi No Yokan is the 7th album by the Deftones and was released November 13th 2012. During my interview with Frank he talks about the process of locking them self’s in small room and deciding what songs are album worthy and what songs are crap. we also touch on how he came to be the guy on the turntables and the the growth of the Deftones over the past decade.

“Basically we just through our self’s in a little room and jammed until we made really good stuff” – Frank Delgado

“… it has the dynamics that the deftones are known for and the kids still seem to dig it” – Frank Delgado

“when I first started hanging sround these guys (Deftones) I didn’t know how to play an instrument” –Frank Delgado
