Forget Spam E-Mail, There’s Now Spam Tweets

You've seen the spam e-mails claims you've won cash or have some unclaimed inheritance in some foriegn country your family has never been to. Now comes spam tweets on Twitter.

No joke, the below image is what we received today on the @Q103Albany Twitter account.

Does someone really thing somebody would fall for that? Then again, there is a 'sucker born every minute'.

Needless to say we didn't click on the link but it caught us slightly off guard this morning. We've seen tweets with undisclosed links before but never anything like this before where it was so blatant of a scam.

Since the above screen was taken, the account has been pulled by Twitter. Good to see there are on top of scam accounts.

First your email wasn't safe, now your social media accounts aren't either. Be aware, be warned.
