Foo Fighters To Perform On SNL

The Foo Fighters are getting set to promote their brand new album so they will taking the Saturday Night Live stage to promote it.

There is no better way to promote you're latest album than by going on SNL.  The Foo Fighters are doing just that. They will be the musical guest on the April 9 episode.  This will be the Foo Fighters sixth appearance on SNL and the host that night is British actress Helen Miran.

Dave Grohl has said before that the new album, Wasting Light, will be the heaviest album that they have ever done.  It is due to hit stores just a few days after the SNL performance on April 12.   The first single off the album is "Rope" and the Foo's just recently released a music video for the song last week.  "Rope" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard rock chart back in February.
