Next year we will see the return of the Foo Fighters with a new album that the band has been hard at work on. Before then, Dave Grohl and company will play two shows in Mexico this week and to prepare for that show, the band showed up to surprise fans at a pizza joint earlier this week.

The band showed up Monday night to perform alongside drummer Taylor Hawkins' band Chevy Metal at Redballs Rock & Roll Pizza in Moorpark, California. The show was billed as "Chevy Metal's Christmas Dance Party" and over 200 patrons paid $10 each to feast and rock out.

Shortly after the party started, the Foo Fighters showed up unannounced for a two-hour jam session on stage.

This was the Foo's first gig in months and from the looks of the above video, they haven't missed a step.
