While on their current trek to take over the world, the Foo Fighters made a stop at Santiago's Pista Atlética Estadio Nacional in Chile on Thursday (Jan. 15). During that performance, Dave Grohl and company continued to prove their rock god statuses as they turned the crowd's chants into an impromptu song, the result of which you can watch below.

The original chant went something like, 'Ole ole ole! Chile! Chile!' Soon after the audience began chanting, Grohl started singing and accompanying it with a guitar riff. Afterwards, the frontman spoke to the crowd, stating, "So here's the thing, you guys sing every song before I even sing it. Nobody else in the world does that, I think that's some Chilean s--t, I don't know what that is." When it was all said and done, Grohl replied, "OK, we got a new Foo Fighters song."

The Foo Fighters released their latest album, 'Sonic Highways,' back in November. Their presnet world tour will reach the U.K. and Ireland in March with support from Iggy Pop and Royal Blood. You can check out all of their tour dates -- and purchase tickets -- here.
