Foo Fighters wrapped up their tour dates in Australia this weekend and while they had a successful run down under, they encountered a few hiccups with their last show. First, according to AAP, the date was pushed one day so that Dave Grohl could fly back to California to escort his daughter to a father-daughter dance (great Dad alert!). Unfortunately, Grohl was rewarded for his good deed by getting food poisoning during his trip.

In the video above, check out Grohl telling the audience all about the ordeal and how he got food poisoning at the dance. He goes on to say he spent his whole trip back to Australia in the plane's bathroom. Watch as the crowd still gets him to chug the beer he's holding. You’ll hear him say to his fans, “Next time you have food poisoning, I’m coming to your house and make you chug a f--king beer.”

We’ve attached a bonus video below from the same show where Grohl notices an audience member talking a photo of himself while crowd surfing, "This fool is having the time of his life, up on top of everybody's heads. Sitting there taking a  f--king selfie of himself with us in the background, while his a-- is up at his best friend's head."

The frontman is certainly is observant of his audience. During that same Australian run, Grohl spotted a fan holding up a sign saying “Drumstick for Blind Guy PLz?!” and Dave stopped the show and gave the guy one of Taylor Hawkins sticks.

U.S. fans will get to see the group perform when they kick off their 2015 North American summer tour on July 4 in Washington, D.C. They’ll trek through North America until Oct. 7, when they bring their music to Memphis, Tenn. Check out the full list of dates here.
