The Capital Region's active rock music scene is alive and well, especially this week as Q103 presents five concerts in a little over a week!  Danzig,  Alter Bridge with Black Stone Cherry, Seether with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sully Erna at the Egg and Papa Roach with Pop Evil.Get your devil horns ready, we got warmed up with Danzig at Northern Lights in Clifton Park Sunday night.  Next up is Alter Bridge with Black Stone Cherry at Northern Lights in Clifton Park on Wednesday May 18th. Black Stone Cherry will be doing an acoustic performance at the Q103 studios Wednesday afternoon. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 day of.

Seether will be in the area during the release week of their new album.  'Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray'.  We are lucky as Seether will be doing a CD signing on May 19th from 4p-5:30p at F.Y.E in Crossgates Mall on 2nd level, followed by the show on Thursday night at Northern Lights with Bulletproof Messenger and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.  RJA will be making an acoustic stop at the Q103 studios in the afternoon too.  Tickets are $28.

Sully Erna, front man for Godsmack will be at the Egg in the Empire State Plaza to support his solo project 'Avalon'.   Its a very unique type of show- An eight piece band with percussion, tribal rhythms, female vocalists  all in a living room type setting.   Tickets are $37.50.

Papa Roach, Pop Evil and Escape the Fate will coming into Northern Lights on Tuesday May 24th.  with the RAID THE NATION Tour.  Papa Roach has been dubbed “this generation’s great live rock band” by fans and critics across the globe.  Pop Evil - Q103's house band fresh off their most successful single to date 'Last Man Standing' is always energetic from start to finish.  Escape The Fate a metal core band from Vegas completes the bill.  Tickets are $27.50 in advance $30 day of.
