New insider-leaked rumors have emerged on Sledgehammer's newest entry in Call of Duty series.

We all knew it was inevitable, but MP1ST reported that details on the next Call of Duty title have been leaked to the Call of Duty YouTube personality, Drift0r. According to Drift0r (who has a subscription fanbase of nearly 600,000 users), a Call of Duty insider has let him in on the details of the next title. While most people should be skeptical towards random, even popular, individuals making claims on knowing insider details, Drift0r leaked some of the first details to hit the Internet last year pertaining to Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Throughout Drift0r's video of what he witnessed from this next Call of Duty, he repeatedly and honestly warns people that nothing is set in stone and that everything he's claimed should be taken with a grain of salt. As previously reported, Sledgehammer Games, Treyarch and Infinity Ward will now be alternating its game development for the Call of Duty series. Given that Infinity Ward was the last of the three development studios to make a title (Call of Duty: Ghosts), Sledgehammer Games will be making its solo debut with this next title. Sledgehammer assisted Infinity Ward with the development on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, so it is a bit more likely that this new title would be Modern Warfare 4.

Drift0r mentioned seeing a power plant-like structure hanging above a heavily populated, metropolitan area and futuristic weaponry that was reminiscent of the firearms used in Titanfall. While this could have been Modern Warfare 4, it could also have been a future-oriented entry in the Call of Duty series in order to help breath some fresh air into the franchise. Nevertheless, stay tuned as we shall continue to provide more information on the next Call of Duty title when it becomes available.
