Three people were injured and one has tragically died as a staged collapsed today during sound checks for a Radiohead show in Toronto.

A staged collapsed during sound checks for a show that Radiohead was to put on today at Downsview Park, about five miles north of Toronto. The band was not on stage during it's collapse. According to the Toronto AP, "Emergency Medical Services deputy commander David Viljakainen said a man who was trapped under the rubble was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was in his mid-30s."

Around 1,000 people were there to witness the stage collapsing at 4:00 PM today.  Radiohead was not due to hit the stage until 9:30 PM and promptly cancelled the show that was expected to bring in 40,000 fans.   The cause of the collapse is unknown at this time but police have launched an investigation.
