Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs, NY is an annual tradition in it's 15th year and it's a great thing to do on a winter day. You get to sample and vote on the chowder. Pick up a ballot form at any participating establishment, taste different soups and chowders for a $1 a cup (3oz. serving) and vote for your favorite!
