It's an eighth grade field trip to the National Aquarium.  Now a chaperone's dilemma - When it becomes lunch time, what do you do with 100 kids?  Let's go to Hooters! That's what happened when a group of eighth graders from Pennsylvania got hungry on a recent field trip and soon it can happen here in Albany too! It's a dream come true for those eighth grade boys!  Apparently the group of 100 kids was to large to all go to one restaurant so they split up, went to various restaurants in the Washington D.C. area. A group of 15-20 kids ended up at Hooters.

Superintendent Wayne Brookhart says that while he wishes the group’s coed chaperones had chosen another restaurant, he has not received any complaints from parents.

Hooters spokesman Mike McNeil says the restaurant chain often hosts groups, including sports teams and church organizations with teens and younger children.

Hooters better known for it's bust lines instead of the menu will soon be opening on Wolf Road in Colonie at the location of the old Lone Star/Fuddruckers.   Grand Opening date is June 17th.  We can't wait! Look for Q103 broadcasting live at its grand opening for lunch.
