The frontman of Pearl Jam has to postpone the start of his U.S. Tour which is bad news for fans of Eddie Vedder. The reason? Earlier this year he had a back injury and is now suffering from temporary nerve damage in his right arm. He's expected to make a full recovery.Pearl Jam management released this statement:

After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled,” There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful. Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets. Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form.

Now the tour, which was supposed to start on April 10, won't play its first date until October 31, in Las Vegas, NV. All Tickets will be honored for rescheduled dates and any refunds will be available upon request through the point-of-purchase. Pearl Jam fan club members who bought pre-sale tickets through the band’s website will receive an email regarding proper refund procedures.
