If you're looking for something to do this weekend from 2pm to 5pm you can go to the River Street Field in Troy and sample some fine beverages.

I went to this event last year and did not drink any beer, I sold T-Shirts and souvenir glasses instead. For some reason people seem to think that they can just take the T-Shirts, you can not do this, in fact if you try to we will chase after you and get our shirt back from you especially if you're already wearing a shirt. If you're not wearing a shirt we may have to think about it for a second but we will get our shirt back if you do not pay for it.

Last year I witnessed something strange and something that I found to be very amusing.

What I found to be strange was the 'Silent Disco.' A bunch of people underneath a tent wearing headphones and dancing, but not disco dancing, underneath a tent. I think what makes it so strange to me is that you can't hear the music but I could see a group of people reacting to music that I could not hear, from my perspective those people looked like a bunch of crazies in a looney bin hopping around mumbling to themselves and it does not help that the tent is white.

What I found amusing was this one drunk girl who was being kind of rowdy, she was doing the usual "hyper drunk girl" things and I watched her poor boyfriend have to babysit her as she ran around being loud and drunk, eventually she slowed down enough to make-out with her boyfriend but not in a modest way, more of a: "Look at me I am sucking face with my man" way. Toward the end of the event she sitting on the ground holding her own head as her boyfriend rubbed her back.

I don't know why but I had to be there for the big finish, I stalked the couple for a little bit but they eventually made their way up the stairs away from where I was and I still had some sticky clean up work to do. Fortunately I saw the two again on the sidewalk as I was getting into my car, her back was to me and her head was down as she gripped the railing and then I saw all the alcohol she had consumed that day splatter onto the sidewalk and begin to pool around her and her boyfriend's feet, I smiled and drove away.
