Dream Theater brings their 'Images and Words' 25th anniversary tour to The Palace this Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 8pm.

Images and Words was the second studio album from progressive rockers Dream Theater released in July of 1992 on ATCO Records. The first Dream Theater album to feature singer James LaBrie, it was the band's most commercially successful album, featuring the Mainstream Rock radio hit "Pull Me Under". Other singles "Take the Time" and "Another Day".

I remember first seeing the video for Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under" on MTV's Headbanger's Ball and having to run out and pick up the Images and Words album. I was in junior high at the time and I fell in love with the album. It's a masterpiece from beginning to end in my opinion and shortly after the album came out I got to see Dream Theater play at a small rock club called Tickets in Amenia, NY. It was an amazing show that I got to see with great friends and I'll never forget it. I've seen Dream Theater many other times over the years but sadly the material from the great Images and Words album has been seriously ignored over the years in the band's setlists. I can't tell you how excited I am to be seeing the band performing this classic album in it's entirety.

Tickets for Dream Theater: Images, Words & Beyond at the Palace this Tuesday are on sale through ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster charge at 800-745-3000 and the Palace box office at 518-465-4663.
