Sometimes the Capital Region gets no respect. Sure we may have some areas that resemble the slums. But we also have other area's that are quite gorgeous, including these streets.

Now I noticed a girl at the Times Union did a post on this recently but many of her choices tended to put funny or real spins on them. For instance she put the Menands Bridge into Troy. Saying 1-2 accidents a week daily. By all means give her article a look, its humorous and also very true.

I wanted to lay down a few streets here that are actually gorgeous. Ones tourists may want to stop and take photo's of.

  • Avenue of the Pines, Saratoga
  • Broadway, Saratoga
  • Monument Square, Troy
  • Kings Road, Colonie/Schenectady/Rotterdam/Guilderland
  • Lake Avenue, Saratoga
  • Lark Street, Albany
  • Northway
  • Route 7 (Anywhere close to Vermont)
  • All the roads in Frear Park
  • Pawling Avenue, Troy
  • Gurley Avenue, Lansingburgh
  • Pinewoods Avenue, Troy/Brunswick
  • The traffic circle in Glens Falls

Now as you may see, quite a few Troy streets on my list. That is due to me being born and raised in the home of Uncle Sam. So how is this, what is the most beautiful street in your town?

Also by looking back on my list, I need to get out more. Just saying. Well just saying before you do.
