Disturbed recently released a cover of the Simon and Garfunkel song "The Sound of Silence" from their latest album Immortalized, and people seem to love it. But fans are really loving the live version of the song as it's been getting rave reviews from fans.

According to Loudwire.com, Disturbed decided to release a live version of the song taken from a Feb. 19 performance in British Columbia. During the performance, the band was joined on stage by a local high school music teacher and others that provided strings for the song. Check out the live performance below.

Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin will be teaming up for a co-headlining summer amphitheater tour. This tour is gonna rock! Disturbed formed out of Chicago, Illinois in 1994 and the current lineup consists of frontman David Draiman, bassist John Moyer, guitarist Dan Donegan, and drummer Mike Wengren. The band first came on the scene in 2000 with their debut album The Sickness featuring singles like “Down with the Sickness” and “Stupify”. They’ve released a total of six albums with their latest being 2015’s Immortalized.
