It's no news that I love to cook and the Food Network is one of my favorite channels.  For a few years now I have been addicted to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and I have come to the conclusion that it may be the greatest show ever.

I know a lot of people don't like Guy Fieri, but I am a big fan of the guy and the show he hosts on the Food Network, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.  You can't help but get hungry when you watch this show because 99% of the stuff they show is awesome.  I leave that 1% because on occasion, very rarely, I don''t care for the food they are showing.

I think we need him to come here to the Albany area because there are a lot of really cool places that he could check out to grab some good grub!  I mean the places he shows are mom & pop diners that are serving up home cooked meals loaded with love.  How could you not get hungry?  All the places have their own unique way of doing things, which makes watching even more enjoyable.  I have gotten several ideas for things to make just by watchign this show.

On an added note, watching this at the gym is a bad idea.  Especially when your gym is located in the same plaza as an easily accessible grocery store.  Gym + Food Network + Grocery Store next door= counter productive.

Seriously though, I think that this may be the greatest show on the planet.  Now I'm hungry just thinking about it.  What places would you have Guy go if he came to the Albany area to do an episode?
