Music and tattoos go hand in hand, and both will be available in large quantities at the Texas Showdown Tattoo & Music Festival. The three-day event will be held in El Paso, Texas at the El Paso County Coliseum the weekend of July 18-20.

The musical lineup is a diverse one. Deftones will be headlining on Friday, July 18. Other bands on the bill that day include The Casualties, Lower Class Brats and Murder FM.

Saturday's rock centric bill is topped by Drowning Pool. Also playing are 12 Stones, Crazy Town, Bridge To Grace, Scorpion Child, Grind and Bash. Sunday, July 20 features headliners Wu-Tang Clan with a more rap and hip-hop-centric lineup.

In addition to the music, there will be more than 300 tattoo artists from around the world (including celebrity artists from popular TV tattoo shows) if you're looking for some new ink. Attendees will also enjoy sideshows, human suspension shows and more. Tickets are available at this location.

Before heading to Texas, Deftones have some European shows. They'll be in Russia on Sunday (June 29) for the first of two gigs in that country. They had to cancel their June 27 concert in Ukraine due to the current state of affairs in the country. They are on the bill at Roskilde in Denmark on July 4, and then at Sonisphere in England the following day.
