An upcoming 10-disc Blu-ray box set focusing on David Lynch's creepy murder-mystery 'Twin Peaks' will expand David Bowie's role as Agent Phillip Jeffries.

'Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery' includes every episode of the original 1990-91 ABC television series, both the U.S. and international versions of the TV pilot, the Blu-ray debut of the 1992 offshoot film 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me,' and nearly 90 minutes of outtakes and alternate scenes.

Bowie, while in rehearsals for Tin Machine's second tour, had a bit part in the movie. A sneak peek into the box set extras, attached above, finds the classic rocker in the middle a never-before-seen meltdown over the epic weirdness that always surrounded Lynch's narrative.

"My character is an intensely overtravelled upholder of the law," Bowie said back then. "He has seen too much and has little ability to do too much about it. Not dissimilar to the perspective of a rock god, really."

'Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery,' featuring English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, is due on July 29. The set also includes a new featurette with Lynch and the actors who played the family of fictional homecoming queen Laura Palmer, whose murder sparked the 'Twin Peaks' investigation by Kyle MacLachlan's FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper.
