Despite the fiasco of having to rush over to a hotel for the night because the power is out in my apartment, I still made it out to Everydays, but tonight I hope to be attending the weekly open mic at Trick Shot in Clifton Park. Another venue that I have been doing my Stand-Up for over a year now, where I am often the only comedian among musicians.

My first time doing stand-up comedy at Trick Shot was in November of 2013. I had my doubts about invading a open-mic that is primarily geared toward live music and had to contact the good folks at Trick Shot. They told me that it would be fine and that they were excited to welcome a local comedian.

When I arrived I was not intimidated, I received a friendly welcome from the host, bartenders and musicians. I grabbed a beer and set in close to the stage and enjoyed the bands that went up before me. The more I listened the more excited I became, because of the presentation. The stage was set up for a rock show, not stand-up comedy and that is exactly why I were so excited.

When it was my turn, the band left the stage and it was all mine. From an outsiders perspective it must of looked like some lunatic had just wondered on to the stage and started shouting about Macy's trying to ruin Thanksgiving into the microphone. And that was exactly what I wanted them to think.

Standing on that stage telling my weird jokes made me feel like a Rock Star and I recommend this open mic to anyone who wants to experience the same feeling.

This video is actually my second time at Trick Shot, I am performing my ill-fated "Vacation America" set that was not well received until I tried it out here at Trick Shot.
