We haven't had a new album from acclaimed Irish folk singer Damien Rice since before the Obama administration, and maybe -- just maybe -- it's why everyone seems so bummed out these days.

But that theory will be put to the test in November when Rice releases his third album, 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy,' his first since 2006's '9.' Produced by Rick Rubin, the nine-song album will drop Nov. 11 via Warner Bros.

As a teaser, Rice has also posted a brief video for the album's title track. Starting off simply with Rice and his acoustic guitar, it suddenly crashes with a wave of orchestral strings, layers of backing vocals and massive drums. Listen to the track below.
