The date of Friday the 13^th is notorious for stupid superstitions and scary movies. So I have compiled a list of my favorite horror films...

#5. IT

Maybe I’m a sucker for threes company or maybe I just hate clowns. But when the guy from rocky horror picture show dresses as penny wise the dancing clown it freaks me out.

#4. Arachnophobia

Spiders are scary, I don’t care who you are. This movie kept me out of my basement from 5 years old until I was old enough to rent an apartment of my own that doesn’t have a basement.

#3. The Decent

This movie has it all. Hot annoying British girls, claustrophobia, giant underground pools of blood and poo, and horny naked mole men!

#2. Killer Clowns From Outer Space

Maybe i just hate clowns. Say what you will about this film but I think it its pure genius! Just when you thought clowns couldn’t get any worse, BAM!  They start harvesting humans in giant cotton candy cocoons and attempting to smash our children with comically large hammers. Brilliant film.

#1. Pee Wee’s Big Adventure

Maybe not the movie in a whole but the scene in the truck with Large Marge. I know today it was only hokey clay-motion but as a kid watching that I thought all old lady truck drivers eyes popped out of their head. It’s terrifying to a young  impartial child.
