Cowboys & Aliens – BJ’s Movie Pick

Once again a movie inspired by a comic book hits theaters this weekend.  I think people are pretty mixed as to whether or not they will go see this one, but I think it's going to be pretty damn awesome.

First of all, anyone doubting how good this movie will be, it's Cowboys battling Aliens.  Need I say more?  It's based on a pretty bad ass comic book from a few years ago, and is a pretty cool twist on history if you ask me.  I mean whose to say that aliens weren't coming down to earth back then?

The movie stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde.  With that kind of star power, you have to believe that it has to be pretty good.  Daniel Craig has kicked some major ass in the movies I have seen him in (Munich, Casino Royal, Defiance) and we all know that Harrison Ford is the man.  Olivia Wilde adds that awesome sex appeal that all nerds need.  Not that they would skip out on cowboys fighting aliens.

I don't know if it will make as much money as Captain America or Thor, but it will for sure be the number one movie this weekend.  That is unless The Smurfs comes out of no where to claim that spot, which wouldn't surprise me.
