Could ABC’s ‘Modern Family’ End Because Of Contract Disputes?
The cast of the hit TV show 'Modern Family' is involved in some pretty heavy contract negotiations with ABC. So far, neither side has budged, so is the show doomed?
This week is supposed to be the beginning of actors preparing for the fall season. However, if you don't have a contract worked out, you aren't ready to work yet. The adult cast members of 'Modern Family' currently don't have a contract, and aren't showing up to work.
ABC unleashed 'Modern Family' on us in 2009. They had no idea that it was going to explode into on of TV's biggest shows. Now, the actors want to get paid. According to Yahoo, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara are all sticking together to get that big fat paycheck.
Apparently Ed O'Neil already makes more than the rest of them, so no one is sure if he's part of the negotiations. If the contract dispute doesn't clear up, could this be the end of one of America's favorite shows?
