Coors Original Beats Out Bud In Blind Taste Test To Determine Best Beer

As it turns out the commercials with Sam Elliot's booming voice telling us how good original Coors is may have been a glimpse into the future.  The 'Banquet Beer' won a blind taste test to see which beer is the best tasting, and best value.

A Consumer Report study revealed that amongst the eight most popular beers in the country, Coors Original is the best value in both taste and for your wallet.  In the battle was between Miller products, Corona products, Budweiser products and a couple beers from Trader Joe's and Walgreens.

They determined that while light beer will save you calories, none of them had flavor to make it through that part of the competition.  Corona Light got the worst rating when it came to taste, while being far more expensive than the better tasting Miller Lite.
