Colorado’s Incentive For Picking Up Trash Is Very Green

Colorado is well-known for how relaxed they are with marijuana, a pioneer state for its legalization. Their practice of giving people joints for picking up trash is a really good idea.

Fox and Friends first did a report on this a few days ago. Colorado Springs is willing to give people marijuana in joint form for helping clean up their parks and community. It was a touch more than that. An organization actually set this up and fully intends to set up another. It drew over 100 people.

This is a practice that seems a bit odd. Maybe because my whole life up until a few years ago, marijuana was illegal everywhere. Maybe its due to me being a non-user. It could also be due to me not knowing much about the weed laws. Either way it seems like it works and could work in many other places.
