You've heard the commercials on Q103 and you've seen them on TV.

Right now around this time every year, the 'Click It Or Ticket' campaign kicks in to high gear as the summer travel season begins. Residents of the Capital Region are being reminded that they need to buckle up or get a ticket and law enforcement officials are on the hunt.

So as you and your passengers hop in your vehicle, remember to buckle up.

The campaign runs from May 19 through Memorial Day weekend. So not only will police be looking for erratic or drunk drivers, but also they will be paying attention to that nylon strap around your shoulder as well. The annual campaign has netted over 3 million seat belt citations in the last five years alone.
