Chicken & Waffle Flavored Chip Coming Soon? Maybe
Lays potato chip company has launched their "Do Us A Flavor" contest. Last October fans of the chip brand were asked to submit their idea for a new flavor line and now the company has narrowed it down to three finalist.
They include: Chicken & Waffles, Sriracha and Cheesy Garlic Bread.
Chicken & Waffles? I've never tried such a thing but I can't think that it could taste good in a chip form. I feel bad for the taste testers during the process of creation and horrible previous versions they had to say "no" to.
Cheesy Garlic Break? Yeah, I can see that one being a success in sales and taste. Combos has a Pizzeria Pretzel that works - so why not this?
Sriracha? Yep, no clue.
All three flavors will be hitting stores on February 12th and in some places, they are already out. Some chip lovers are in heaven about the new flavors while some are questioning the suggestions for these flavors.
Which one will win? My vote is for Cheesy Garlic Bread.
