I'm all about people doing good and helping other people, so when I stumbled upon this story, I had to blog about it.  The Times Union reported that Chris Pratt, an actor and comedian [Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World], helped Shenendehowa High School student Jacob Monday check off a box on his bucket list.  Jacob Monday has terminal bone cancer, and as reported by the Times Union, had a bucket list item to meet Chris Pratt.  The actor did in fact meet Jacob, took some great photographs with him, and he even posted about in on his official instagram account [@prattprattpratt].    Also, according to Chris Pratt's post, Jacob also has a goal of getting a ton of Instagram followers, so  if you are interested you can follow Jacob at j8ke.monday on Instagram as well as see his post with Chris Pratt.

I myself lost a close friend and fellow college student to bone cancer many years ago, and I remember her going through a bucket list, traveling, and seeing the world in ways many of us never may, before she passed away.  While incredibly sad, it was also incredibly heart warming.  This story about Chris Pratt and Jacob Monday to me is amazing, and it is wonderful to see these photos of Jacob smiling and making silly faces. You can also see more photos of the duo, and more about Jacob's bucket list, at the Times Union.
