But it was revealed that General Keith Alexander, head of U.S. Cyber Security and Organizational leader for the NSA, has agreed to be the speaker for that day. This is pretty big news in the computer security world.

Well it was only a matter of time before it would happen, and as of yesterday, it now has. AT&T has now decided to switch to a shared data plan for smart phones. It'll be called "AT&T Mobile Share" and it'll start at $40 per month plus $45 per smartphone for unlimited voice minutes and messaging and 1GB of data.

The closest star in our solar system otherwise known as the sun, has been very active this week. On Friday evening the sun erupted a powerful solar flare. A flare so big that it would take 15 Earths set side by side to match or over 118,000 miles long. Friday's solar flare is known as a X class flare, and is the most powerful so far this summer, however it's not the biggest this year. The biggest eruption happened in March and is the 5th X class flare in 2012. Watch the video.
So my friend Barb's house was broken into just this past Wednesday, July 4th at 9:30 pm on RT. 20 in East Greenbush, while she was enjoying the fireworks downtown in Albany. They took her laptop, and other assorted items as well as her new iPad she had just gotten a week before. But because she uses the free "Find my iPad/Mac" service, she has a fighting chance to get them back. The reason I'm writing this story is to educate as well as help Barb get her stuff back by posting a picture her Mac's webcam, using security software, caught of the intruder.
