Eve To Adam’s “Banquet For A Starving Dog” Album Review

Queens, New York City's newest rock quartet Eve to Adam, released their debut album, Banquet for a Starving Dog, on September 13, 2011. I've given it a thorough listen and am impressed. By the sound of them, and their success thus far, I can see the band becoming pretty big in the rock world within the next few years.

Even if ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ was a terrible disappointment that also punched you in the groin every time you loaded the game, you’d have to buy it.

Newest Local Solo Artist Frank Palangi- EP Album Review

Recently, a video of new, local heartthrob artist Frank Palangi's song "Love" was posted on the website, and received lots of positive attention. The acoustic and rock artist hails from Queensbury and does all of the writing and creating on his own. His self-titled debut EP was released on August 31, and by the sounds of it, he's headed on the path to musical success.

Jane’s Addiction’s “The Great Escape Artist”- Album Review

LA-based quintet Jane's Addiction have certainly had their ups and downs since they formed in 1985. They've gone through a number of band members and years of non-existence, as well as some very successful years and coinciding albums. Their newest album, The Great Escape Artist, is the first since 2003's Strays, and with another big time lapse between records, it's inevitable to wonder if this band will last much longer.

Five Finger Death Punch’s “American Capitalist” Album Review

Last week, six-year-old rock/metal quintet Five Finger Death Punch released their newest record American Capitalist. It is the third studio album for the Los Angeles-based band, and is very pleasing to the ear and mind. Just two months ago, the band was in town for Q-Ruption, where over 12,000 people got a first listen with their single "Under and Over It," however, judging by its sound and positive feedback so far, I don't think fans will be "over" the album for a long time.

Pop Evil Private Party Concert [Review]

On Tuesday night, Albany was the home of Pop Evil's private concert at Jillian's, and Q103 was there to catch all of the action. Along with popular headliners Pop Evil, five other bands also performed: Silversyde, Museum Guards, The lost Sons, Finding Clyde and Kyng. I was there for four of the bands, and it was a fun-filled night complete with new and awesome music.

Better Late Than Never – A Review of Stone Temple Pilots at The Palace [PHOTOS]

Scott Weiland, frontman for the Stone Temple Pilots is a genuine rock star.  A police escort rushed his tour bus from New York City to the Palace Theater in Albany almost a hour and a half later than expected.  When he arrived you knew Scott was in the building, a larger than life rock icon wearing sunglasses, a half burnt cigarette in his mouth, greased up hair,  and seconds later on stage as if nothing happened.
