Frank Palangi And Trapt At Northern Lights [REVIEW]

I had the best time last night at Northern Lights! I finally got to meet and see Frank Palangi perform, as he opened up for Trapt. Candlelight Red and The Lost Sons also performed. The day started with two of the bands visiting the station, and ended with Trapt on stage until almost midnight.

The Used’s “Vulnerable” Album Review

Breathtaking, awe-inspiring and masterful are just three words that come to mind when describing Vulnerable, the fifth studio album by Orem, Utah-based band The Used. It came out this past Monday and didn't take long to win me over. The Used is my favorite band, and has been since I was 16. No matter what they write it's always amazing and always different than what they produced before. I'd say the quartet are at their highest musical peak yet, and I hope they stay there for awhile.

The Still Reckless Tour Rocks Northern Lights [REVIEW]

Last night, five headbanging, hair waving bands rocked the walls of Northern Lights in Clifton Park, and I have to say it was one of the craziest, most jam packed crowds I've seen in awhile. With people in line for hours upon hours, to people filling almost the entire venue, it was definitely a good time had by all.

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – Dru’s Review [VIDEO]

Excellent movie.  Not at all what I expected from one of the first trailer's for the film, which I find exquisite as well because it was able to intrigue me without the use of dialogue.  The movie itself, even better - with dialogue!

Man Made Machine’s “Become” Album Review

Newest rock band, Tempe, Arizona quintet Man Made Machine have just recently been taking the music world by storm. They're on tour with Staind, and have released their debut album, Become. The band fits in very well with today's popular rock bands, as they have similar sound and style, while showing the world what they have "become" since luckily being signed, recorded, released and on tour.

Livan’s “Off The Grid” Album Review

Four-year-old UK quintet Livan came into my life a week ago today. They were lucky enough to open up for Alice Cooper at The Palace Theatre, along with eight other locations. I've already described them in some detail in the review blog, but I did not mention their third studio album, Off the Grid, which came out last year. In four years, the band have created three albums- that's pretty impressive, and proves how talented and ambitious they are, and it shows in this album.

Last night, my biggest and oldest idol, Alice Cooper put on a classic, vintage show at The Palace Theatre in Albany. It was my fifth time getting to see the legend, and every time is like the first- he always reels me in and amazes me with his talent and entertaining show without fail.
