Q-Ruption featured performer Shinedown caught up with Dalton Castle for an interview in which the band discusses the difference between hematomas and bruises.

Adelitas Way just wrapped up their set on the main stage at Q-Ruption 2012. This has just been another step in what's been a great three years for the band, touring with Guns N' Roses, Three Days Grace, and Puddle of Mudd in addition to those they are sharing the stage with for the UPROAR Tour. Bad news for Papa Roach fans - Jacoby Shaddix has been diagnosed with with a vocal chord issue and will have to undergo surgery to remove the nodule and prevent future damage. There is however a silver lining for fans who will be attending the show - longer set times for the other bands.

After close to two months of voting by fans and being judged on musicianship, originality, ability to draw, songwriting, and vocal ability, three local unsigned bands have been selected to perform at the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands Friday August 24th at Savannahs in downtown Albany.
