July 6, 2012 This Fourth of July, Albany's Empire State Plaza was packed to the brim with local residents who came out to celebrate our country's birthday and independence. Two big features of the night were a killer performance by Tommy James and The Shondells and of course the fireworks! Check out photos of both after the jump!
It's the 4th of July, you've spent all day relaxing and pre-gaming to see fireworks later that night to celebrate America's Independence. You get to your viewing location, crack open a beer and wait for dusk. Anticipation grows when it's finally dark enough for the big bay boom to start. However it fails as every single firework in the arsenal goes off at the same time and the fireworks that were supposed to be 30 minutes, ends up being 30 seconds!

July 4, 2011 This past friday, Q103 spent the morning at Sport Island Pub, which is located directly on Sacandaga Lake. It was a perfect day filled with good weather, a ton of people, delicious food and drinks and of course awesome music. It was a great time and a great day to kick off the 4th of July holiday weekend.
We look forward to celebrating our nation's birthday every year. Everyone celebrates in their own way, but there are a few things I think we can all agree on that are just not good ideas. Allow me to enlighten you.
