Food Trucks have been on the rise in Albany over the last year with more and more trucks popping up at major locations for lunchtime service. For the most part, Food Trucks have been a major staple in major cities from New York to San Francisco but only now is just making it's mark here locally.

Tim Taney, owner of the Slidin Dirty, has been around since the start of the craze and will be joining many others for the Food Truck Festival this Saturday at the Riverfront Park in Troy as we spotlight this new(er) version of "fast food on the go" in the Capitol District.

Last Saturday night hundreds of you Shinedown, Three Days Grace and P.O.D. fans flocked to the Glens Falls Civic Center to see them all perform. Despite the rough road conditions going to and from the venue it was well worth it, as all three bands put on awesome sets. A few winners were lucky enough to meet one, two or all of the bands and get autographs and photos. Our Q-Tease Nikki, Amanda, Jodi and Jen were also on hand. Yesterday the Q103 garage was invaded with Michigan-based rock band Pop Evil and 20 of their fans who were lucky enough to win the chance to watch their acoustic performance. They played a handful of songs, answered questions and gave fans insight on their songs. It was an intimate affair and the first of many garage sessions to come. Over the weekend Q103 teamed up with Dutch Apple Cruises in Albany to bring you our first ever Pirate Cruise and it was a sold-out success! DJ's Rob Dawes and Dalton were present, as well as Q-Tease Jen, Nikki, Ashley and Katelyn. Music was provided by Johnstown-based cover band Hygeer, who rocked the boat all night as it sailed up and down the Hudson river. Check out all the photos after the jump.

Monday June 25th Golfers took to the Orchard Creek Golf Course in Altamont for the first ever Q103 Dysfunctional Golf Tournament. A great time was had by all as they tried to maneuver around 18 holes being distracted or having to over come several obstacles. Sort of like miniature golf on a regulation size course. Afterwards Wayland performed a acoustic set for all the participants. Check out the photos and be ready for the 2nd annual.
