Albany area beer connoisseurs were out in full force at the Rare Beer + Cask Ale Event as part of Saratoga Beer Week on Thursday 2/22. A dozen breweries were represented with some of best of the best and of course rare beers. We had some favorites for the night for sure and clearly so did all of the other beer geeks in attendance.
Saratoga Beer Week is among us and I made it my duty (haha duty) to try all the beers. Brian from Druthers brew pub stopped in the studios to drink and talk Beer week with me.
We attended the official kickoff party for Saratoga Beer Week at the Olde Saratoga Brewing Co and had a blast sampling beer and having some pizza from a wood fired oven. If you missed the event dont' worry, there are plenty more happening this week where you can get in on the beer action.
Last year the citizens of Colorado approved the law to make Marijuana legal in the state. Now comes a recommendation that pot be made legal for all visitors of the state too.

Beer is good, especially with a side of wings. There is nothing like a cold frothy beverage after a crazy day at work. Actually, there is nothing like a tasty brew after a crazy day, period. Throw in some warm weather and a deck- 'Beer is good, and stuff': Yeah, I could totally hear that cranked at a bar with everyone singing along. Cue awesome song, now!
