Bush have just unleashed their new video for their anthemic and serious single ‘The Only Way Out.’ The track is featured on the band’s upcoming album ‘Man on the Run,’ which is due on Oct. 21 via Zuma Rock Records.

The Jesse Darvey-directed clip is like a mirror. It is shot in reverse and flips halfway through and ends just as the video begins. It features frontman Gavin Rossdale carrying a TV, with video of his face on it singing the song, while pure chaos breaks out around him. He dodges hospital staff, explosions and a SWAT team in the unique and bombastic video.

Rossdale recently stated that 'The Only Way Out' is “a good gateway into the record.” He added, “This record gets a bit wider and probably a little darker. This is just the right way in.”

The vocalist recently gave Rolling Stone some insight behind the 'Man on the Run' title of the new album, saying, “When you first begin writing songs, you see the world and your time as infinite, because that's the nature of being young. As you get older, you see it as chapters.” He said, “The title 'Man on the Run' is meant as a universal take on a slice of my life and the people I come across. It just seems that the doors are closing and everyone is trying to figure out their way. It's the most universal title we've ever had."

Fans can catch Rossdale serving as a guest mentor on ‘The Voice,’ helping his wife Gwen Stefani on the Oct. 13th episode on NBC. Before that, Bush will premiere a new track from the album titled ‘Loneliness is a Killer” on Elle.com on Monday (Oct. 6).

‘Man on the Run’ will arrive on Oct. 21. Fans can pre-order the effort via the band’s PledgeMusic Campaign page.
