The new album from Buckcherry, All Night Long, is bringing that classic in your face rock sound that we have all come to know and love.

It was back this past summer when I got to hear the first single off of Buckcherry's latest album All Night Long and it was the self titled track. I was like, oh yeah the party rockers are back.  The song pretty much describes the bands live shows.  I mean they would play all night if they could and never slow it down (except for maybe "Sorry").  I think the formula they have worked out is very similar to that of AC/DC and KISS.  Play loud, energetic, party rock and the crowd will be on their feet, all night long (no pun intended).

The second single off the album is what really made me take notice to the new stuff though.  "Dead" quickly became one of my favorite Buckcherry tunes.  The grungy guitar in the beginning, the rebellious message.  Rock and Roll at it's absolute best.  A message about the youth that may have those dreams that others don't think are worth dreaming about.  The latest single "It's a Party" is pretty self explanatory.  It will be awesome to hear them perform the songs live.  And let me tell you, if you have never been to a Buckcherry show you are missing out on one hell of a time.

I have seen them a few times now and it's been a great show. Josh Todd totally plays to the crowd giving them exactly what they want.  He reminds me of all the great showmen of rock.  Bruce Dickenson, with the way he jumps around from one side of the stage to the other; Steven Tyler in his play to the crowd and appearance; and Freddy Mercury in how he just owns the stage.  He had SPAC in the palm of his hand back at the first Crue Fest.  It is hard for them to duplicate the success of 2006's 15, but All Night Long is most definitely what most Buckcherry fans have been looking for.

Buckcherry hits Northern Lights this Friday night (February 18) as part of the Jagermeister Music Tour with supporting acts HELLYEAH and The Damned Things.  Keep it on Q103 to win tickets to this kick ass show and also qualify to win backstage passes and a chance to win a Jager guitar and amp which you will then take backstage and do a little jam session with Buckcherry.  Good luck guys and hope to see you at the show!
